Leafy Brain Fungus (Tremella foliacea)

This fungus might look like a decaying fungus but on closer inspection, it is one of the jelly fungus (Heterobasidiomycetes) I found this growing on a fallen Oak tree covered in moss in the New Forest National Park. Leafy brain fungus is a parasite on other fungus and is found in the autumn during the wettest period on dead and fallen deciduous trees.
