Kefalonia by Andy
Lighthouse 650w3937r

Kayaks in front of the stylish Fanairi Lighthouse which is located at the entrance to Argostoli bay, Kefalonia Greece. June 2015.

The Theodori lighthouse was originally  built in 1829 under the British administration of Sir Charles Napier and then rebuilt after being destroyed by an earthquake in 1875. It's become one of the distinctive symbols of Kefalonia, and still operates as a unmanned lighthouse guiding passing boats around the rocky peninsula into Argostoli harbour bay. The Lighthouse is also popular for weddings and reception at the building next to the watermill.

I did take loads of nice landscapes of this interesting building,  while my wife rested on a nearby seat enjoying the view.
