Hissing Cockroach Andy

Madagascar Hissing Cockroach (Gromphadorhina)

When my eldest son was only 5 Years of age I took him to a well-known insect show in Kettering when walking around the show a kind insect collector gave my young son two Hissing Cockroaches. Well that was 18 years ago and they have just kept breeding without adding any more fresh stock. I feed them on fruit, oats, and potato. Adults are very large and safe to handle being very gentle creatures. Only hiss loudly when handed first, occasionally they have been food for some of my larger Tarantulas. I am now trying to reduce them to keep something different.
