The Chicken of the Woods also called Sulpur Polpore (Laetiporus sulphureus)
I always enjoy finding these very bright orange yellowish bracket fungi. I photographed one growing on a tree stump covered by a large bramble bush. I got badly scratched but thought it was worth it at the time as I wanted the pictures. This is an edible bracket fungus and as the name suggests it has the flavour and taste of chicken, can be found on living and dead trees from May to September.
