Carnac Stones, Carnac, Brittany, France.

I have stayed in the French village of  Carnac a few times with my family on holiday, the Carnac stones is a magical place to visit and is the largest collection of megalithic stone structures in the world. The stones date back to around 3,300 BC which makes them 4,500 years old. The main alignments are Kermario, Ménec and Kerlescan alignments with dolmens, cromlechs (which are stone circles) and also tumulas which are scatered around the site. My family enjoyed the beaches but I enjoyed the Carnac stones.
