Brownsea, Island by Andy

Brownsea Island, Pool, Dorset, uk

Brownsea Island is the largest islands in Pool Harbour which is owned by the National Trust and a lovely place to visit. I have enjoyed walking around the Island with my family a few times. There are easy walks around much of the island which includes woodland forests and heaths and lovely views of Poole Harbour. I always found plenty of wildlife to photograph on the island and the best peacocks display I have ever photographed. On my next visit, I am hoping to make time and see the Red Squirrels being fed, having only seen a wild pair of these lovely animals briefly at a holiday camp in Italy.
